Continue straight past the firehouse and parking for the lower falls is along the right side of the road. Take Fallen Leaf Road about 5 miles and continue left upon seeing the marina and signs for the falls. You will see Fallen Leaf Road on your left. Take Hwy 89 north from the Hwy 50 junction for about 3 miles. Simply park and stroll down to the already visible rushing waters. Who do you think wins on Saturday night Eddie Hall or Thor Bjornsson? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below! He believes that the power achieved by staying heavy will help him to stop Bjornsson, and has no concerns over his cardio and getting tired early. ![]() Eddie Hallīritish strongman Hall has opted for a different approach to his rival, keeping a lot of weight on ahead of his debut. On that night, he tipped the scales at 146.5kg, or over 322lb, and viciously stopped the arm wrestling champion within minutes in a monumental mismatch. Was it Eddie’s technique to come in heavier and stronger? Or will it be Thor’s emphasis on boxing technique, endurance and boxing skills that will beat brute strength?"Īnd despite his huge cut, Bjornsson has actually gained 5.5kg for his fight with Hall from where he was when he beat Devon Larratt within a round back in September. "Having extra weight in my opinion doesn’t help you," Bjornsson has said of his dramatic cut. He has cut a huge 52kg to make the still huge weight for his fight with Hall, which he believes will help him in every aspect of the fight. During that time, he won the world's strongest man twice, the Arnold strongman classic twice and a number of European and Icelandic tournaments. Thor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall agreed tattoo bet for loser of grudge boxing fightĪt the height of his strongman days, Bjornsson weighed a colossal 205kg, or over 32-stone or 450lb. He weighed in at a whopping 152kg, or 335lb, despite losing an incredible amount of weight to make the fight happen. Bjornsson and Hall are two elite-level athletes in strongman competition, and will switch to boxing to settle a years-long rivalry dating back to the 2017 tournament which the Brit won. Eddie Hall and Thor Bjornsson are billing their fight as "the heaviest boxing match in history" after weighing in at a combined weight over 600lb.Īnd while that title isn't exactly 100 per cent accurate, it certainly is going to be a monstrous super-heavyweight clash between two former 'world's strongest man' winners. PC Games Cheaper On Gamedeal | Find The Best Deals of Games Here!įinding the right place to get the best game deals can prove to be quite a hassle when comparing game prices on multiple sites. If you liked my review, please feel free to follow me and/or my curator group:Īlso feel free to check out my YouTube Channel: It is absolutely not worth 14,99€ at all. The Road to Hades has a duration of 30 minutes. The best which this game had to offer was the song during the credits. In terms of horror, I was pretty bored, it was not scary at all. Besides of the bugs, the graphics are not good and the sounds are bad too. Also, if you try to change something in the settings menu you can not confirm any changes you make, the only option is to hit the Esc key, which erases all changes made. It is full of bugs, it can happen that you or that an item which you need to proceed fall out of the world and you have to restart. Simply said, the game is bad in every aspect. Yeah, I recommend this for any horror VR fan. Not sure it would be worth $14.99, that would be a close call. ![]() And I did lose an item, but a quick restart and I was back at the last checkpoint. You're supposed to walk slow as you're tip toeing around in a scary place. My biggest gripe, besides that last puzzle, is the slow walking. This game definitely got the atmosphere correct. However, more than likely you'll take at least an hour. ![]() It is possible to speedrun the game and finish in 30 minutes. So instead of feeling great having finished the game, I felt a little aggravation of that last puzzle which left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Just moments earlier there was this epic crescendo to the cadence of the game that led me to believe the game had ended, instead it dragged on a moment too long. The last portion has a very tedious puzzle that is mostly trial and error and frustrating. In fact, the game went on after it should have ended. The path didn't always make sense, but it was always interesting. It felt like most of the assets were original. You usually know where to go even though it's not a straight path. Those will tell you that you're on the right path. You do have a guiding hand in the butterfly animations. Somehow I knew the solution even though logically it didn't always make sense. The rest of the puzzles just felt natural. There are some light puzzles to solve, but they are almost all pretty easy and don't really feel like puzzles. This is one of the better VR deals on the Steam Summer sale. Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers Regardless of these issues, I'm still giving the game a thumbs up. ![]() The non-vr version? It doesn't work! lol. A little direction would be very helpful. The game doesnt tell you you need to do this until after you die, lol. How was I suppose to know that? Also, when the enemy runs at you, you're suppose to reach out and rip off his mask. Actually, you need to take candle and light her pipe. Lack of direction: In my previous review, I got stuck at the sitting skeleton because I thought I ran into a game ending glitch. For example, when I step in water in one area the "floor creak" sound continues. Also, the sound is sometimes completely off. Sound issues: The looping sound is not looped seamlessly, and there is a very unimmersive pause when the FX track restarts. Some "cobwebs" have transluscent boxes floating around them. Textures are inconsistent in some places. Model/texture issues - Some items appear flat when they should be on a 3d plane, like candels. But, there are a few very noticable issues.Ĭlipping issues - Things your holding go right thru the wall at all times. So I got this game on sale, and its actually very interesting. ![]() Of course, unlike a dedicated airport train, (coming in 2024) the FlyAway is as subject to traffic jams, accidents and other street delays as an Uber or taxi. I had plenty of room to write 300 words of this story, holding my computer in my lap.Īfter a few minutes navigating the streets of the San Fernando Valley, we got in the 405-carpool lane and cruised the 20 miles down the freeway to LAX. Of the 52 seats on the bus, more than half were empty. There was no Wi-Fi, but so what? I had cellular service the whole trip. The air-conditioning worked well, and the bus had comfy leather seats with footrests and seatbelts, although I chose to live dangerously. On the Flyaway bus, you are in a sense flying away as you literally ride above the traffic on the perpetually jammed 405 freeway. Taking the bus was literally a vacation from stress. Like most people who live in Los Angeles County, I drive most places, as do all of my “friends” on the streets and freeways. Los Angeles, California, USA - October 10, 2021: LAX FlyAway bus stopped at Los Angeles Union. Inside and out, the bus was clean, and the interiors seemed new, with leather seats and strong air conditioning. ![]() People moved to the front of the bus to board. There was a separate line for passengers to drop off their luggage to load in the belly of the bus. I walked outside to wait for the bus to load, which began in minutes. ![]() I went inside, quickly spotted the ticket booth, and paid the $9.75 fee. You can even reserve a parking spot up to six hours in advance. Van Nuys has a big terminal, with plenty of seating and 2000 parking spaces for $6 a day, up to 30 days. The Van Nuys terminal was modern and clean, although it lacked snack stands. On August 14, I was dropped off at the terminal (about four miles from my home) to catch a 12:40PM bus to LAX. The drop-off curb in front of the bus terminal was hopping when I was there. Convenience is another reason for FlyAway’s popularity, not just for airline passengers, but for friends and relatives tasked with helping them get to the airport. The FlyAway is always $9.75.įriends don’t let friends drive them to LAX, the saying goes. Depending on traffic, type of service and time of day, in the last year, I’ve paid between $50 and $116 for a one-way trip from or to LAX from my home in the San Fernando Valley via taxi, Uber, Lyft or Alto. Price is a major reason for the popularity of FlyAway. |
